A Message from our President, Heather Boye

Hi all!

A big “Thanks” to everyone who shared their interest in joining our Board of Directors!  Having new participation on the Board is a great way for us to keep our members engaged and content fresh.  We look forward to presenting our 2023 Board Slate soon and look forward to your feedback!

But before that, I hope to see everyone next week for two great programs, both on Thursday, October 27th !  First, our educational program with Adele Gutman on Reputation Management and Culture as the Ultimate Revenue Growth Strategy, will be on Zoom at 11:00am.  Then, to end the day, we will be hosting a Networking Mixer at 3:00pm at the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center.  We hope you can make it to both great events for a chance to connect learn and connect!

Next in line for education will be an in-person afternoon of Digital Trends for Hotels with HSMAI San Diego, Meta and Sojern, at Andaz San Diego on November 10th.  This program will focus on maximizing direct booking strategies, making the most of an increase in demand, and understanding the travel trends specifically for the San Diego market. Your FREE registration includes both the educational program and the networking mixer to follow.

To finish out the year, we will be holding our Holiday Happy Hour to unwind and meet the new board members!  While an exact date has not yet been decided, this will be sometime in early December.

There has never been a better time for hospitality to break down silos and fully activate and align our teams in a commitment to deliver on our brand promises.
